An outrageously good concert from Muse for War Child, playing a mix of old and new. Amazing to see them outside of the stadiums.
Full video of the whole concert:
Note to Android users at the front – please stopping waving your giant TV screens around!
A cracking set from Citizens! in a thankfully fog-free XOYO. These guys were good.
Another blurry late-night iPhone photo. This is 2:54 playing a great set at XOYO. More fog I say!
A lucky last-minute ticket led to probably the foggiest concert I’ve seen. Great visuals though, and they sound amazing.
An unbelievably enthusiastic audience for Northern Ireland’s finest. I tried to record video but the floor was shaking so much and made it look like I was stood on a boat.
For fact lovers the lead singer, Alex Trimble, was the guy who sang lead on the great Underworld song Caliban’s Dream during the Olympic opening ceremony (sadly no video there – the mighty grip of the Olympic Committee prevails).
The volume was cranked up to 11 and the audience was deafening at the Leeds Academy. A fantastic performance by Mr Flowers and band, and I’m so glad I was able to see them at such a small venue.
Best. Concert. Ever. Ahem.
Three in a month is quite a personal record.
New Zealand’s finest electropopist making Shepherd’s Bush a little less grimy.
Shirley and Co. ruled London’s East End, and it’s great to see them in action again.
