I’ve been told that sea lions, whales, and sharks can be found off the coast, but all I saw was seagulls. Still, the coastline itself is very pretty.
These were seen along the coastal path in Santa Cruz. Some had flowers but I liked the abstractness of the cob-webbed ones.

You see all kinds of stuff in San Francisco. This guy was somewhere around the Folsom Street Fair. The white socks are a nice touch.
One of the benefits of jet lag is that you’re up early enough to see some beautiful colours early in the morning. This is the boardwalk in Santa Cruz.
The bay area is very pretty.
