In a corner of the Imperial Palace is this perfect building next to the moat. They wouldn’t let me across the bridge to get closer so I’ll have to go back another day when the Emperor isn’t at home.

Shantou Picnic
Shantou is a port city on the south east coast of China. It’s famous for its beef balls and satay style sauce, none of which is shown here. The people picnicking may be eating beef balls, which is about as relevant as this gets.
Inside the tower
Although there are some great views from inside the Canton Tower, I also liked the shiny-black surfaces inside the viewing area. The reflections make it feel like you are about to walk on water.
