I think that’s what happens in Harry Potter, right? I’m too much of a book snob to have read the book or seen the movie, but it’s what I imagine Harry Potter would look like.

This is the dining hall in Balliol College in Oxford.

  1. It looks like the Great Hall at Hogwarts – perhaps this is where J K Rowling had in her mind’s eye when she was writing. The Harry Potter books are well worth reading, they are beautifully written and a great insight into English society, there is much for adults as well as being a good story for younger readers. Much better than the movies!
