It’s almost exactly one year since I posted about The Shard. It still looks like a giant alien mothership, and it’s still creating very divided opinions. I think it’s great.

This is a view of The Shard from Paramount, a restaurant at the top of Centre Point, which has amazing views over London.

In the foreground is Tate Modern, and following the Thames you can see HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge. All utterly dwarfed.
