Gyeongbokgung is a sprawling palace that reminds me a lot of Beijing’s Forbidden City. I thought it would be overflowing with fellow tourists but it was actually quite peaceful and relaxed. I’d like to see this place in summer when everything is green and flowering.

There’s also a folk museum which has a lot of traditional Korean activities going on.
