It’s a rare day in Hong Kong when you can see clearly across the harbour, mainly because of haze and pollution. My early morning trip on the Star Ferry was accompanied by fog so thick you could barely see the end of the boat.
However, the buildings in the Hong Kong are so tall you can see them above the fog, making for a very serene experience as you glide towards them. You just need to ignore the incessant fog horn and the diesel fumes.
