The thing about taking photos of dim sum is that it’s generally not the most photogenic food, and is usually found in dark surroundings with terrible lighting.
Saying all of that, when in Hong Kong what better food to eat than… Taiwanese dumplings!
This is at Ding Tai Fung, a Taiwanese restaurant famous for their chicken soup xiao long bao (shown first).
It’s one of those places where you can queue for hours, so I wasn’t expecting much. The food was very tasty though, and the dumplings were the star. The noodles with burnt onion were also a surprising treat.
I love Din Tai Fung! I ate there quite often when it first opened in my area.
